These were all recorded during our brief walk-through of the house.
Clip 1: This one comes pretty quick. To start our tour of the house, the group is entering the house from the front door out of respect. (After all, you wouldn’t like it much if a bunch of strangers suddenly invaded your house for an investigation.) You can hear some of us walking when a male voice whispers a word. Can you make it out?
Clip 2: You’ll hear the female docent say, “With the ladies do this thing…” Right after she says, “thing” and before she says, ” …gather,” a male voice can be heard saying, “In my pocket.”
Clip 3: The docent says, “But they didn’t stop here.” A male voice can be heard saying, “Wow.”
In some ways, this male voice sounds like the other male voice that said “wow” earlier in the evening, during the pre-investigation set-up.
Clip 4: The docent says, “…brought from Paris.” Right after this, I can hear a male voice whisper, “It’s Ann.”
Clip 5: The docent says, “He died here….” Before she can say the last word, a male voice says, “here.”
Clip 6: Laura J is warning us not to ask questions of the spirits that are too personal. She says, “We’ve had people ask really….” She pauses and the docent says, “Very intimate….” Listen for the voice in the pause. Can you make out what the disembodied voice is saying?
Clip 7: One of the investigators comments that the doll room is “nice and warm.” Before she can finish saying this, a female voice can be heard saying what sounds like, “Yes.” A male disembodied voice follows; can you make out what it’s saying?
Clip 8: The group is at the top of the stairs. You’ll hear some of the women talking. This seems to displease someone/something. Can you make out what the voice is saying to these women?
Clip 9: You can hear the group walking on the stairs. Suddenly, a voice calls out my name.
Clip 10: Someone human says, “But there is a door right there,” followed by some laughter. At the 3 second mark, I can hear a male voice say, “Come right in,” on top of a docent who says, “You have to kind of meander….”
