Alameda Naval Air Museum (6/20/15): 2nd Generation Clips from the Pan Am Exhibit

These are all 2nd generation recordings from a quick EVP session my group did in the Pan Am exhibit that’s in the Museum on the 1st floor.

Clip 1: The EVPs start right at the beginning. I am tagging the location and say, “Alameda Naval Air Museum.” What might be a disembodied voice says what sounds like, “There’s nobody.”

Clip 2: In this clip, someone (human) asks who is the “black shadow [showing up in Vicki’s photos] that has been following us around” during our investigation.

A high-pitched female voice can be heard at the 3 second mark and is saying either “Who?” or is a short cry. The human continues the question by asking, “Who is it?” A different disembodied female voice says, “Who is it?” Then, the high-pitched female voice heard at the 3 second mark can be heard again at the 7 second mark saying “Who?”

Clip 3: Vicki asks, “Is the black shadow [showing up in her photos]…something bad?” In the pause, a disembodied voice says something that sounds like “Black shadow.”

Clip 4: Joke asks, “How many people were on the first flight of Pan Am?” A disembodied female voice responds at the 11 second mark. Can you make out the response?

Clip 5: I ask, “Can you tell me who flew the first flight of the China Clipper?” At the 7 second mark, a female voice says, “Elizabeth.”

Clip 6: A human asks, “Were there any injuries?” A male disembodied voice responds clearly. Can you make out what the voice is saying?

I will try to follow up on what might be direct responses to our questions about who flew the first flight of the China Clipper and how many people were on the first Pan Am flight. If I find confirmation, I’ll be sure to update this post.
