Alameda Naval Air Museum (6/20/15): In the “Clinton Room”

The “Clinton Room” is located next to the “Obama”/model airplane room on the 3rd floor. These clips were recorded here. It’s called the “Clinton Room” because there’s a photo of President Clinton. The EVPs are 1st generation recordings. We also had an Echovox (Android app) session and I’ve included some interesting responses using the app.

Clip 1: In this clip, you’ll hear me explain what the Echovox app is. At the end, I say, “This is like the spirit box. Sorry.” At the 7 second mark, a disembodied voice can be heard. Can you make out what it’s saying?

Clip 2: Vicki says, “That’s really surprising me. We haven’t had any activity on the K2 meter.” Before she finishes, a male disembodied voice says, “You’re right.”

Clip 3: Joke asks the spirits to pose so she can take their photo. She says, “1, 2, 3” to let them know when she’s taking the photo. Joke continues, saying, “Oh, there we go! Thank you!” At the 7 second mark, a disembodied voice either sighs or exhales loudly. It’s possible the voice is also saying the name, “Ben.” What do you think?

The following clips were recorded during the Echovox session.

Clip 4: I am explaining how he Echovox app works. The app responds with, “That works me.” I take this to mean “That [using the app] works [for] me,” indicating a spirit can use the app to communicate with us.

Clip 5: The Echovox app says “Yoka,” which is the way Joke’s name is pronounced.

Clip 6: James asks, “How many of us are in this room right now?” The app sounds like it says, “Five.” The total number of people in the room was five.

Clip 7: Joke asks, “Who’s in front of me?” At the 11 second mark, the app says, “Friend.” At the 17 second mark, Joke says, “Please don’t tell me it just said ‘Paula’.”

Because of the relevant responses from the app to Joke’s question, I ask Joke if she wants to follow up with a related question. Joke asks, “Who is the friend? What is your name?” At the 36 second mark, the app responds with “Paula.”

Paula is the name of a friend of Joke’s who had just passed away. I slowed down this part of the clip so you can clearly hear the app’s response.

Clip 7 is almost 38 seconds long. During the 38 seconds, the Echovox app seems to keep up with us and respond with relevant answers.
