Historic Building (6/12/15), Benicia, CA: First Floor, Part 2

These clips are the second set that were recorded on the first floor.

Clip 1: Our docent, Chuck, says, “Ahh, the first session, I was telling you guys, the first session down here….” He pauses for a few seconds. In this pause, I can hear a disembodied voice but can’t make out what it’s saying. Can you hear anything, Laura J?

Clip 2: This was recorded during the set up. A possible disembodied voice can be heard at the 7 second mark, saying, “What’s going on?” Laura J–any chance this could just be a distortion of whatever Chuck’s saying in the background?

Clip 3: Right after Laura J says, “Aiming towards the chair,” I can hear a disembodied voice again say “What’s going on,” as if wondering what we are doing in the room.

Clip 4: I’m not sure if this is a disembodied voice or one of us. During set up, someone/something says, “Talks a parrot.”

Clip 5: Mike says to Chris, “Speak louder.” Chris replies, “Oh.” Mike continues, “Not for these recorders but for theirs [mine and Laura J’s].” Right after Chris says, “Oh,” a possible disembodied voice says at the 5 second mark what sounds like, “Ann’s recorder.”

If this is an EVP and I’ve heard it correctly, this would be an example of an intelligent response as “Ann’s recorder” fits perfectly into what was, at the time, being discussed by the humans.

Clip 6: This was recorded during set-up. I can hear a disembodied voice at the 4 second mark, but I can’t make out what it’s saying.

Clip 7: I say that I’m sitting at Elliot Moore’s desk and ask him to say his name for me if he’s present with us. At the 7 second mark, I can hear a disembodied female voice but can’t make out what it’s saying. I’ve amplified this part of the clip so hopefully you can hear this voice.

Clip 8: Chuck asks if a spirit once moved the roulette wheel that’s set up in an adjacent room when he was present. At the 11 second mark, I can hear a disembodied voice say what could be “The roulette.” I’ve amplified this part of the clip.
