First of all, Happy New Year everyone! I hope your 2017 is filled with great investigations and interesting evidence and experiences. I apologize for not posting since October 2016; I took a short holiday and didn’t have anything to post as I was so backed up on listening to my audio recordings.
You know how that goes. “Oh, I’ll let 1 or 2 investigations pile up and listen to that audio in a few weeks.” Then, all of a sudden, you’ve got 5 or 8 or 10 different investigation’s worth of audio waiting to be listened to. The number is daunting, and it was easier for me to just avoid doing that after October.
My New Year’s resolution for 2017 is to be speedy about listening to my audio recordings from investigations, so I can post anything I find here. So far, so good. The New Year for me started with Meek Mansion.
It was actually the 2nd half of our Meek investigation since the first part, on 10/1/16, was cut short. We investigated the first and third floors of The Meek in 2 different groups and then took our customary break in the Carriage House. Upon our return to the front door of The Meek, the door lock key wouldn’t work! And there were no other alternate ways for the docents to open the door and let us back in.
I’ve investigated The Meek at night 4 or 5 times before, and there were never any problems with the door lock or key. We’re thinking the spirits didn’t want us back in The Meek that night!
We were able to return to The Meek on the night of 1/7/17. What a great night for an investigation! A big rainstorm was coming in and there were it started raining during our investigation. Some paranormal investigators believe water and storms help spirits generate energy that they can use to better communicate with us.
I’m almost done listening to my audio recordings and wanted to share a particularly good clip recorded when we were investigating the Carriage House.
My group took a short break when we got back to the Carriage House. You’ll hear us talking. Yvette offered me a bit of her cookie, which I gladly accepted. She says, “Take a bigger piece [of cookie].” There’s an unaccounted for voice right after she says this and before she says, “Bigger piece!”
To me, it’s pretty clear what the disembodied voice is saying although I’m not quite sure on the first word. If that word is “We’re,” then it’s possible the voice is referring to the cookie I am about to eat. (And, if these were spirits talking, they’d be right. Those white chocolate chip cookies from Costco are great!)
Take a listen and let me know what you think the disembodied voice is saying.
